About Anna Villarreal Garbis
Hello! My name is Anna Villarreal Garbis. I specialize in custom hand-painted murals for children's rooms as well as faux finishes and decorative painting. I have taught art appreciation and drawing through Young Rembrants at the West Suburban Montessori School in Oak Park, Illinois as well as at the Elmhurst Art Museum in Elmhurst, Illinois. I have also worked as a Design Consultant with Bassett Furniture. I have work on display with the Saatchi Gallery in England and have also displayed my work at the Karen Solem Gallery in Elmhurst, Illinois. I absolutely know where you're coming from with this series .....it just strikes you that colours and textures can be found anywhere if one has to just look ....and the art of seeing is the true form of appreciating art ....I have done the same thing with my "oops" photo , which was taken of the the ground of a terrace which reminded me of a google earth image or maybe spilled coffee or maybe .......well !....BTW ...thanks for your kind comment.
